For those wanting to learn CAD/CAM for free, I see a lot of people pointed to Fusion360. But I also like MasterCAM, which is offering a free online certification course. A lot of the principles carry over to different CAD/CAM software. Here is the link.

Their free education software has all their design features unlocked, but you can't post G-Code from it.
